Partnumber.org is a community site based on sharing and archiving product part number data and information.
A partnumber is an alphanumeric number designated to identify a part, product or service. Each partnumber should be unique. A part number differs from a UPC number in that a model or part number may have a corresponding UPC for each size, color or type. Thus a part number may have several to many dozen UPC codes for each particular color and style.
A partnumber is very similar or may be identical to a SKU number.
All the data gathered on this site was community, distributor, retail store, or manufacturer contributed.
Anyone is free to feature their product in order to better promote and advertise their item. Partnumber.org is the perfect site to feature your new brand part or product.
Spamming the website with "overt" product promotion and information is discouraged. Please be considerate to all members and patrons by objectively presenting your item with pertinent information that the community would find valuable. Part numbers, product specifications, product image, release date, etc.. Links to the manufactuer, distributor, and/or retailer is acceptable.
