[edit] Fox Racing Motocross Gear

[edit] About Fox Racing

Fox Racing was founded in 1974 by Geoff Fox. Their headquarters are in Morgan Hill California in the United States, with satellite offices in Irvine California.

Fox Racing began by manufacturing motorcycle handlebar grips. Soon they were developing apparel gear for their off road / MX team that everyone wanted to wear. Demand increased and Fox Racing quickly became a major player in the world of supercross and motocross apparel.

Their current line of gear consists of off road helmets, gloves, boots, pants, jerseys, protectors, goggles, sunglasses and sportswear. Fox Racing also developed their secondary line named "Shift Racing". Originally designed to cater to a lower end market, it now stands shoulder to shoulder with the Fox Racing brand name offering street and off road gear. Shift Racing competes head to head with the likes of Joe Rocket, Icon Racing and Alpinestars in the road and street market.

Fox Racing's growth segment is in their casual sportswear line. Their new line of sports shoes, and sunglasses along with their core line of jeans, shirts, sweaters, hats and beanies continue to show extraordinary growth.

Fox Racing remains a privately held company with many family members still very active in the day to day activities. Fox Racing offers apparel and gear for MX, BMX, Wakeboarding, Surfboarding, and Mountain Biking. The Fox Head logo is one of the most recognized brands today. Not only can you find Fox casual wear at motorcycle stores, but also in major outlets such as Tillys, Pacsun, Macys, Mervyns, Marshalls and at Fox Racing outlet stores.

Fox Racing sponsors some of the biggest names in supercross today, including Ricky Carmichael, and James Stewart. Fox Racing is considered to be the leader in the offroad / motocross apparel market today. Other competing brands include Thor MX, Answer, MSR, & Troy Lee Designs.
